Introduction

Hello Romans, and welcome back to the bi-annual Magna Heros! It is I, your writer, Diodorus Nerva, and I am going to talk about a man who lived a century ago, one of the most profound yet most cruel: Lucius Cornelius Sulla Felix

Yes, I know upon hearing that name you react with both awe and terror, but fear not! For we are not bringing him back in the flesh, but analyizing his life. We will dive into the great life of Sulla, from his humble roots to poor to join the army, facing a stroke of luck and inheriting money at the age of 30, all the way to him being the most powerful man of the republic, only to be surpassed by the late great Gaius Julius Caesar, and now humbled in comparison to Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Divi Filius, Imperator and Princeps of the Roman Republic!

Today, sit back and relax as you read about  a man who fought against impossible odds to save the Republic, a man who was a pragmatist and a realist at heart: Lucius Cornelius Sulla!
